Ok, so it is a FUN game, but it’s not BRILLIANT. I mean, it’s good, but you’d probably have to be a Ghostbusters fan to get the most out of it. I’ve written a review of the game which you can read at http://www.collectorz.com/connect/games/nintendo-ds/ghostbusters-the-video-game/
Re-reading that review there are a few things I didn’t mention that I feel I should. There are basically four or five environments that the game continually recycles for the missions, which can get a little boring. The “up-grades” to your equipment do basically nothing and at times the fights can become really annoying as ghosts off screen can hit you but you’ve no idea where they are coming from. It’s also a very short game, I completed it in a week. Those will or will not matter depending on how serious you are about games and gameplay. But, if you just want a good, Ghostbusters game then this will do you nicely.
However, I will say that if you want the BEST Ghostbusters gaming experience, pick it up on PC, PS3 or X-Box 360. The “adult” version of the game is miles better than the Wii/DS/PS2 “kid” version.
