Beauty Cupboard List

As I am in my ‘traditional way of doing things’ phase right now, and am focusing on buying and replacing items that are tried and true in my Beauty Cupboard, I figured I would write a list to keep track of the items that I love, and that I consider to be my “holy grails”. I often go to re-purchase something down the track, and forget what the specific product was called, or what shade I used. Hopefully this will stop that from happening in the future!

  1. Some fabulous products on your list. Must try out some more Givenchy cosmetics. What an amazing Blog you have. Also really enjoy your tweets on Twitter xo

  2. Wow, and I thought my comics pull list was long. Who doesn’t love writing lists though?

  3. I’m overwhelmed by your beauty cupboard. I have so very few things. However, as a very fair-skinned girl, I can tell you that I love the BareMinerals 1c Fair powder — it even has a bit of sunscreen in it which is always a good thing for us fair-skinned beauties.

    • I have used Bare Minerals before! In fact I have some in my cupboard at the moment… I just find that it’s too heavy to wear over a liquid foundation, and I didn’t like the way it was settling into my pores. I think it’s definitely a “winter” foundation/powder for me!

  4. I am probably paler then you are but I use La Mer translucent powder. It is the best thing I have ever used. It’s completely weightless and doesn’t stick in pores or wrinkles in you skin. It comes with a puffer but I like to use a brush. A little goes a looong way and it lasts forever. I use mine almost every day for a year and haven’t made a dent! I also have oily combination skin and this doesn’t create problems for me. It keeps me matte all day. It gives my skin that “glow” without looking like I got my butt kicked by an overzealous fairy. Hope this helps :)

    • Thankyou for the product suggestion! I had actually considered the La Mer powder in the past, but the price had put me off. After hearing your recommendation I will give it another change! I doubt you are paler than I am though, I glow in the dark! LOL. xo

  5. If you want something a little within budget there is also Laura Mercier translucent powder as well. There is a subtle difference between La Mer and Laura Mercier. Neither of them will give you that Twilight sparkle. However I trust La Mer products just because they focus solely on skin care products and have such a great rep whilst Laura Mercier has make up and skin care and other items. So in a way I know La Mer wouldn’t just make the product just to add to their line and like I said I am pale and it doesn’t make me even more so.

And jeez that little smiley on my comment is creepy. LOL

  6. Beauty care profession really a nice job. salon and makeup also an important issue a beautician and the customer. All looking to be nice but I think only one bad side is excessive/wrong use of cosmetics and makeup accessories may be harmful.

  7. send me the best oil, equipment& therapy for dry and thin hair which is continue to break
