Jurlique Wish List & Reader Discount

Winter is slowly approaching, (I do wish it would hurry up and arrive already, I’m sweltering!) and I’m starting to think about what products I want to be using in the colder months ahead. I will need help brightening my skin, keeping my body moisturised (I am thinking body oils and dry body brushing will help combat winter dryness) and something to help with skin sensitivity. Here are a few products from the Jurlique range that I am lusting after this winter:

Herbal Recovery Gel

A potent botanical concentrate, infused with a rich blend of herbs and precious plant oils to restore, firm, hydrate and revitalise the skin. Helps to minimise the visible signs of ageing with daily use.

Rose Body Oil

A moisturising body oil to nurture the skin and senses.

Nurturing Mask

A gentle purifying mask, rich in the living energy of groomwell and sichuan peppercorn to clarify, hydrate and soothe. Leaves delicate skin feeling soft, pure and revitalised. Ideal for rebalancing sensitivity.

You may or may not remember that I recently posted a review for the Jurlique Fruit Enzyme Exfoliator. If you are interested in trying this product out, now is the time! Jurlique have been kind enough to extend a discount code for the readers of The Belle Lumiere. Using the code SUPERFRUIT15 at the checkout will give you 15% off of the Fruit Enzyme Exfoliator. This code expires on the 1 June 2010 and is valid for 1 use only. Happy shopping!

Earth Hour 2010

Please remember to turn your lights off for an hour at 8:30pm on Saturday 27 March 2010. To find out what else you can do to help preserve this little speck of dust we’re floating on, visit the Earth Hour website. As for me, with Mr B away I have invited some girlfriends over for a candlelit wine and pizza night. I just need to stock up on candles now… Heh.

Runway, Real Way, NARS Way

Have you ever longed for that runway fresh makeup look? Well long no more, as NARS have embarked on a new project to help you out with that. NARS’ latest project “Runway, Real Way, NARS Way,” is a series of three videos illustrating how women can achieve the NARS look, inspired by Fall/Winter 2010 New York Fashion Week. The videos were filmed backstage at NY Fashion Week and the easy to recreate looks were applied to women from NARS’ very own U.S. marketing team. The videos show the 3 key steps to achieving the look from Thakoon, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Marc Jacobs.

Thakoon
LOOK: Highlighted Eyes and Nude Lip

01: Illuminate with Orgasm Illuminator
02: Contour cheeks with Lovejoy Blush
03: Get subtle smokey eyes and nude lip with Bali Eyeshadow & Cruising Lipstick

Marc Jacobs
LOOK: Lightly-Defined Eyes

01: Satin complexion with Sheer Glow Foundation
02: Define eyes with Tokyo Eyeshadow Duo, Aigle Soft Touch Shadow Pencil & Larger Than Life Lengthening Mascara
03: Coral lip with Barbarella Lipstick

3.1 Phillip Lim
LOOK: Layers of Pink

01: Highlight and blend with Luxor Multiple and Riviera Multiple
02: Set the eyes with Nymphea Single Eyeshadow
03: Define the eyes with London Eyeliner Pencil & Larger than Life Volumizing Mascara

Now I don’t know about you guys but my NARS” wishlist just increased quite a bit. I already had the Aigle Soft Touch Shadow Pencil and Orgasm Illuminator on my shopping list, but now I’m thinking I might need a few of the multiples? The Luxor multiple looked so pretty after application in the third video! Ahh, lust. After Project 10 Pan, of course.

Blog Sale #3

Time for my third blog sale, just a couple of things this time…

See By Chloe Patent Leather Cutout Bag – I bought this bag from Net A Porter while I was overseas last year. Although I do love it, I just never seem to carry it. There are two small markings on the leather (that you can see in the HQ image) but they do not stand out. They are probably quite easy to remove, but I am not up to speed on cleaning leather. Otherwise the bag is in excellent condition. Comes with original dust bag & tags. $150 AUD + shipping. (pic 1)

Alexander McQueen Ivory & Black Skull Scarf – It really pains me to sell this beautiful piece, but again I’m just not wearing it. I feel like it could get a lot of love from someone else though. Originally purchased from the beautiful Legyviel, the scarf is still in excellent condition. Comes with the original tag. $300 AUD + shipping. (pic 1)

If you are interested in any of these items, please email me at thebellelumiere@gmail.com – I will accept payment via PayPal, and to make things fair it will be first come, first served.
