You know a brand is good when their products manage to work their way into your daily routine.
Evo has done just that. I have used
Evo End Doctor almost every day since receiving a tube to trial for review. Who is this ‘
Evo‘ I speak of? An amazing haircare brand with a damn good sense of humour. I’ll let them explain.
“fresh from the primordial gene pool, the best cutters, designers and lab rats in the business have created evo : the most luxurious, innovative and yet sensible hair care range that has ever existed. born from a desire to produce a high quality salon range (and not sell it as the answer to life, love and other woes), evo steps outside the normal realm of truth-stretching invention, to help people think a little and look good, all at the same time. evo … sweet revenge against an industry of over-inflated truths.”
Their products live up to the tough talkin’ too…
What is great about this product…
The first thing that grabbed my attention was the quirky packaging. The box proclaims “
the end doctor prescribes a treatment for something you have known all along: you have no unity in your hair; the ends are frayed and you’re going nowhere. with almost no side effects, the end doctor will help you to protect your hair against uv and heat damage, mend the broken strands, maintain some health and bring back into the line the strays breaking away from the pack. let the ends justify the means and just see how far you climb.” – Okay yes, I am a sucker for cute packaging. Looking past that and the first thing I noticed about the actual product is the delicious smell. It’s sweet and fruity and reminds me of a “dewberry” scent from The Body Shop that I was obsessed with in highschool. Yummy. The smoothing sealant is thick but not greasy at all. As with most hair products, you only need a little small amount to go the distance. It sinks easily into hair, and doesn’t seem to weigh it down at all. In fact, after blow drying, my hair is soft, floaty and smooth (and smells delicious). This product has made it’s way into my
HG Beauty Cupboard. I love it. The end.
What is not so great about this product…
Ummmmmm nothing. Really, I am loving it.
