Product Review: Weleda Pomegranate Regenerating Hand Cream

I had always been curious about natural health and beauty brand Weleda and their products, so I was over the moon when I was sent a few things from their Pomegranate range to try out and review. The first product I tested out was the Pomegranate Regenerating Hand Cream.

What is great about this product…

I am not normally a fan of strong fruity smelling products, but this seems to really work for me. The smell lingers after application, but not in an overpowering sort of way. I like it. It’s hard to describe the smell itself, especially as pomegranate is not a commonly used scent. I would call it citrusy with a hint of spice? Ha, that is really helpful isn’t it. The product itself is quite creamy and runny, and sinks really easily into the skin. It leaves no oily residue which is great for those like me who keep their hand cream on the desk by the computer or by the bed for application at night. (there is nothing worse than slippery hands on the keyboard or product that gets all over the sheets!) Weleda products are free of synthetic preservatives (including parabens), fragrances, colours, mineral oils and emulsifying agents and are never tested on animals. Which is all good news to me!

What is not so great about this product…

The only real problem I had with this product was the packaging. It is a little bit outdated and could probably do with a little bit of a face lift. The product is fresh and lovely and I don’t feel like the packaging properly represents that.

Australian residents can find their local stockist of Weleda on the website. Also, please note: Weleda is offering you the change to win a Weleda Favourites Pack! Simplyclick here to enter.
