A certain amazing someone was kind enough to send me a care package a little while ago, and nestled inside was what was to become my current lip gloss obsession. The Lipstick Queen 15 Minutes Of Fame Gloss in the shade 11 Minutes. I do admit, at first I was a little hesitant to try it out as the gloss is a deep purple inside the packaging. I wasn’t sure I was brave enough to rock purple lips, but I was pleasantly surprised…
What is great about this product…
The colour is really beautiful. It doesn’t come out purple at all, more like a darkish fuschia-pink. I have tried taking pictures but I can’t ever seem to capture the colour properly – but trust me, it’s pretty. It is a very glossy gloss (heh) but is not sticky or tacky on the lips in any way. The colour is long lasting, and when I’ve worn it out at night, I’ve only needed to re-apply once (and I was eating dinner, so some colour ruboff would have occured then). I cannot tell you how many people have complimented me on my lip colour when I’ve been wearing this. My older brother even complimented me on it, and that is huge! The packaging is small so it fits easily into a clutch bag, and the applicator itself is quite handy with the twist bottom allowing you to dictate how much of the product you want to use at the one time.
What is not so great about this product…
The only bad thing I can think of is that it’s spurred me on to need want pretty much every colour from the collection!
