Hey Mr Postman…

After forgetting to check the letter box on Friday evening, I was pleasantly surprised this afternoon when I remembered to check – only to find a few of the perfume samples I recently ordered had arrived! In the package were Jo Malone ‘red roses’, Serge Lutens ‘clair de musc’, Serge Lutens ‘datura noir’ & Serge Lutens ‘de bois vanille’. Still to come – Kai eau de parfum & Diptyque philosykos. If you’re curious as to where I ordered these from, they were purchased online from The Perfumed Court. I think it’s a great idea to get the samples before purchasing, especially if you’re super fussy like me (and too lazy to go to the shop and try them all out) – the only downside is when you love them ALL and don’t know which to choose. This is the situation I’m in right now… Decisions!

  1. That IS a really nice idea. I always get overwhelmed by scents in the cosmetics counters, and really can’t cope with more than one at a time!

  2. I am looking at the website now and I love it! Such a great idea to sell decants, there are so many to choose from, I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to pick some.

  3. I love it when im surprised when i forget im meant to receive something. It feels like a present has come :D
and perfume samples seem like a great idea! im always going back to counters like heaps of times before i decide for sure i want that perfume.

    xoxo

  4. Definately going to try the Serge Luten ‘Un Bois Vanille’

  5. I have banned myself from TPC for the rest of the year – I have so many decants of various sizes from there it was getting ridiculous. It’s a fantastic way to try perfume though, or buy small amounts of ones you like but don’t want to spring for the cost of a full size bottle, or can’t get here in Australia, or can’t afford a full bottle of, or – or – or. Okay, I’ll stop now. I’m getting excited, and my TPC wishlist is already a mile long.
