10 Day Cycle

After the success of my first attempt at a 10 Day Cycle, I was quite disappointed when my second cycle didn’t seem to go so well. I am going to place the blame on the fact that last week was my first week back at work after a holiday, so I was settling into the groove of life again and not as focused as I probably should have been. The only thing I really achieved was buying some new furniture and eating fresh fruit most days of the week… So here we go again, another 10 Day Cycle plan:

Books to read…

I am currently halfway through The Wizard of Oz, after getting minimal time to read during the past week. Hopefully I can finish it off this weekend and get stuck into The Unbearable Lightness Of Being – which is the current book club book at The Fashion Spot forums.

Movie to watch…

I am absolutely in love with Carey Mulligan, and have wanted to watch An Education since it came out at the movies. (I never got the chance) Now we have it on DVD and I will finally get a chance to see it! I’m very excited about this one…

Hair & Makeup Inspiration

This natural and fresh-faced look shouldn’t be too hard to copy… I love the clean, simple looking hair too. Now if only I had Natasha’s cheekbones to go along with the look, I think I’d be set!

Things to do…

Work out in some form at least 5 times a week.

Paint my nails.

Spend next weekend offline.

Spend more time with my girlfriends.

  2. Is the “10 Day Cycle” your own thing? If so, I love it !

An Education really was great. My husband and I saw it in theaters, and I was IN LOVE with it – rarely do I go to a theater and walk out very, very happy I spent the money. I later watched it with my mother and loved it just as much the second time around. Goodness, I need to pick up that DVD…

  3. I love all of the pictures that you have paired with your goals, this post is so beautiful. I esp. like the nail polish and SATC one!
Good luck on acheiveing your goals this week!

  4. How does spending the weekend offline and spending more time with girlfriends go together? Lol! *holds onto leg*
