The Man Booker Prize Shortlist

The Man Booker Prize shortlist was announced today, and I scrambled madly to add all of the books to my must buy/read wishlist. If you’re looking for a good book to read you can pretty much guarantee that you’ll find one on any of the Man Booker Prize shortlists.     I’m very keen to read Room – I’ve read Slammerkin by the same author and I loved it, and I was watching a trailer about Room the other day (did you know they have book trailers these days?).

    I’ve never been able to finish a Peter Carey book…
