Product Review: Moo Goo Milk Wash

What is great about this product…

I bought this product a while ago (on a whim) from my local health food store. They stock a lot of the MooGoo range, and after sniffing a few of the products I decided I needed to have this. If you’re like me and love products that are from the milky/sweet/vanilla/coconut scent range, you will love this product. As a body wash, it lathers up really nicely (but not over the top as far as bubbles go) and leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth. I really like the ethics of the MooGoo company, and their range is all natural and amazing for people with sensitive skin. The Milk Wash also has a no-tears formula, so it is suitable for children to use as well. I love the fact that it comes in a pump top bottle. It makes using the product in the shower SO easy. There is no need to try and screw the cap on & off with slippery hands, just a couple of pumps and you’re ready to go. I would definitely repurchase this product again.

What is not so great about this product…

Although the Milk Wash is marketed as a product that you can use on both your body & face, I would only ever use this on the body. I did try using it as a facewash for a few weeks, and it did absolutely nothing for my skin except dry it out. I am also not a huge fan of the packaging. The cow is cute and all, and I can see how it fits in with the theme of the company, but I just don’t think it’s that aesthetically appealing.

My Rating: 7.5/10

MooGoo is stocked in most pharmacies/health food stores throughout Australia. A complete stockist list can be found on the website, including international stockists. You can also buy most of the range through their online store. (note: The Milk Wash is currently out of stock)

  1. I think the name sounds a little… off… which has put me off the idea a little!

  2. The anti-aging and MSM cream are my HG moisturisers :)

  3. I have tried the creams from this range and love them but agree re the packaging.
