For $5.25 AUD, you can’t really deny that the NYX Round Lipgloss is a bargain. But as with most low-priced cosmetic items I was doubtful that the quality of the product would supercede the price range. Happily, I was wrong. I currently have 3 of the NYX glosses in my makeup collection, and if I could justify owning more than 10 glosses at once (when it’s unlikely that I will be able to use up all of the products before they go bad anyway) I would probably buy a few more. The glosses are surprisingly long-lasting, and manage to stay on my lips for around 5 hours before I need to re-apply. (far longer than any high end glosses from brands like Chanel or YSL have lasted on me) The NYX glosses are in the middle of the range when it comes to pigmentation, which I really like because it means I get some colour on my lips without it being too overpowering and opaque.
‘Strawberry’ is a gorgeous pink toned gloss with some small glitter particles that help add a bit of shimmer to the lips without being too obvious. My biggest issue with the NYX glosses is the smell. They have a very strong plastic-citrus sort of smell that doesn’t appeal to me at all. Also the packaging is kind of tacky, but for such a low price point I don’t think I can really complain. If you’re on the lookout for a decent quality yet inexpensive lipgloss, the NYX Round Lipgloss is just that. You can purchase the NYX Round Lipglosses for $5.25 AUD online from Crush Cosmetics.
