Get The Look: Anne Hathaway @ Golden Globes 2011

The official new face of “Catwoman” in the new Batman franchise, Anne Hathaway was looking less than menacing at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards this week. As one of my porcelain skinned perfect-makeup idols, Anne did it again with this fresh faced and feminine look. Celebrity makeup artist Kate Lee created this look for Anne to compliment her Armani Prive gown. “Anne wore a nude rose sequin gown. The dress featured a strong shoulder, so I wanted to make sure the make up was approachable and feminine to allow the dress its full attention.” She used the following products to create the look: Chanel Sublimage Concentrate, NARS Oil Free Pro Prime, Chanel Vitalumiere Fluid Makeup, Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder (in the shade medium), Chanel Fluid Iridescent Eyeshadow (in the shade sand), Chanel Inimitable Waterproof Mascara (in the shade noir), Chanel Hydramax and Active Lip Care, Chanel Rouge Coco Lip Colour in Mademoiselle, Chanel Coco Shine in Bel Ami and Chanel Natural Finish Pressed Powder. What do you think of Anne’s look? Do you think it compliments her neutral shade dress?

  1. Ok, you KNOW I’d have to say something about this. ^_^ I’m not sure about her casting as Catwoman. Selina Kyle (Catwoman) is supposed to have Latino heritage, so Anne doesn’t really look right. Selina is supposed to be glamors thought so I can see her doing that well. I hope they darken her hair and really go for the Femme Fatal thing.

But then, I wasn’t sure about Scarlett as Black Widow and she pulled that off pretty well…even if there was no Russian accent.

Catwoman eh? I was really pulling for Eva Green.

I’m a little mixed about this. I think it’s a little too nude and everyday but then the event is a little more relaxed then the others. I would have loved to see a smokey eye or something like that, she seems to always wear this kind of look on the red carpet.

  3. I LOVED her GG look. The dress is amazing too.
