It’s that time again! As always any future book recommendations will be taken on board and automatically added to my Book Depository wishlist, so let me know if you can think of anything I might like. Also, if you’d like to keep track of what I’ve been reading lately you can do so on the handy ‘Book List 2011‘ reference page. What are you reading right now? Would I like it? Does it contain zombies?
Don’t get mad at me but as part of my Global Reading Challenge I chose Evil Angels to represent Austrailasia. Its really compelling; I don’t usually read true crime novels and I really can’t put it down.
Why would I get mad?! I’ve never actually heard of that book… I’m heading to google now.
I’m reading Life of Pi by Yann Martel. It is an amazing tale, I really recommend it to you. Unfortunately there are no zombies in it:-)
Thanks for the suggestion Evelina! xx
I’m reading “Unholy Ghosts” by Stacia Kane. No zombies but lots of ghosts. ^_^ I’m enjoying it so far but my one criticism is that it feel like Kane has tried a little too hard to make all the characters “hardcore.” They all read like those “anti-hero” types that were so popular in the 90s.
Recently finished “Loving Frank”, I seriously wept. One of my faves… Try “Room” as well, a very good disturbing novel.
I love love loved Room. It was my second favourite book from last year. Will definitely check out Loving Frank, thanks for the suggestion!
