When I first purchased this product, it was sold to me to be used as an under eye concealer. Of course when the handsome young Mecca Cosmetica makeup artist applied it under my eyes it looked great but unfortunately since then I have never been able to use it that way without it looking ridiculously caked on and obvious. So for me, this product works as a bottom waterline highlight. I know a lot of people like to use a pure white liner on their lower waterline to help brighten their eyes, but for me that can look a little bit too obvious, so I tend to opt for the more neutral coloured liners.
This liner is extremely creamy. In fact it’s probably the creamiest liner I’ve ever used. Which is good in a way, but it can make for messy application on the bottom waterline because it gets quite melty even when it’s rather cold. I do find that the liner can get clumped up a little bit in my lower lashes, but I tend to apply mascara over the top of that which stops it from being too much of an issue. Other than that, I really like this product as a bottom waterline liner. It has good staying power, and lasts pretty well throughout the entire working day (which to me is quite rare for a product on the waterline). The Stila Kajal Eyeliner in Topaz retails for $18 USD and is available for purchase from the Stila Cosmetics website.
