Product Review: Subtle Energies Dry Mix Pitta Mud Mask

I have heard many good things about the Subtle Energies brand, so I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to trial one of their face masks. If you’ve not heard of Subtle Energies before, their brand ethos is based on the knowledge, experiences and research of Farida Irani. “Farida has been internationally recognised for being a pioneer in Ayurveda Aromatherapy and in reviving this ancient aromatic branch of Ayurveda (the Ancient Indian science of medicine, which literally means “Science of Life”).” The Dry Mix Pitta Mud Mask is designed to draw out dirt and impurities from the skin leaving a clearer and more radiant complexion. It is a dry mask, which means that you will have to mix it with water yourself before applying it to the skin, and because the packaging is filled to the brim (value for money win) it can be quite a messy experience. Those of you who like your mask application to be quick and mess-free should probably give this a miss. On application the mask sets quite quickly but doesn’t become hard to the point of cracking. It’s also really easy to rinse off, and left my skin feeling clean without feeling stripped and also there was no tightness or redness apparent in my skin after removal. The Subtle Energies Dry Mix Pitta Mud Mask retails for $52.80 and can be purchased online from Adore Beauty. (note: I was sent this product for consideration for review)

  1. you do know typically you are suposed to take some of the product out of the container. and mix water with it in your hand. I hope you did not introduce water into the container since that may make it expire or go bad sooner.

  2. i love love lovvvvvvvvvvvve this mask. i use it every sunday night :)
