‘Lust Have It’ February 2012

Lust Have It took a sabbatical at the beginning of the year, so I was happy to return from my Bali trip to find the the Lust Have It February box delivered and ready to be opened. It was filled with annoying shredded paper (as always) and the following beauty goodies: Taut Collagen Infusion Mask $44.95 for 5 pack (I am wary to try this after receiving the Taut shark cartilage drink in an earlier box. Just… no.), Davroe Tame Lemongrass Detangler $21.50 for 315ml (probably the most interesting product for me in this month’s box), Sasy N Savy Rose Lavender Hand N Nail Repair Cream $25 for 100ml (worst brand name ever), LUSH Sugar Scrub $6.50 for 100ml (I am looking forward to trying this, despite the botanical scent) & Lancome Juicy Tube $46 for 14g (the only product I’ve tried previously, and look forward to using again). What are your thoughts on this month’s box?

  1. Hmmm I’m glad I unsubcribed! I realised these sample boxes just make clutter in my bathroom and there have only been one or two products which I have actually purchased.

  2. Gosh, at least there was a juicy tube in it – the rest sounds pretty disappointing…

  3. I have to say I’m on the verge of cancelling both my gift box subscriptions – it was exciting to begin with – but I haven’t been impressed with what’s been in them lately. I feel like they lured me in with the pretty names (Chanel, MD Formulations, Smashbox, Laura Mercier etc) – yet I’m yet to see any products from these brands?! It’s all the el cheapo ones which just don’t excite me. I also feel that including items such as tampons has really lowered the standard of the boxes! Such a a shame.
