Project 50 Pan (part 6)

As I mentioned in a previous post, I managed to finish up some big ticket project 50 pan items over the past couple of weeks. I’ve been finishing products quite steadily throughout this pan, so it hasn’t been too much of a struggle for me. Having said that, I do sense dry times ahead.

31: Pantene 3 Minute Miracle – I love to keep a few of these tubes on hand for hair emergencies. I think I have one left in my cupboard so I might try and make that last as long as possible (hopefully until the end of pan) but I will definitely have to repurchase these at some stage in the future. Possibly the best last-ditch hair saviour I’ve come across.

32: Lancome Hypnose Mascara – Another holy grail item for me, this time my favourite mascara. Luckily I have a backup of this in my cupboard ready to go for when I finish up the sample size tube that I’m currently working through.

33: Bath + Body Works Aruba Coconut Body Lotion – When Bath + Body Works launch a new fragrance range they usually have a limited time offer where you can buy a trial size of the product for $1 or so. I bought this body lotion during one of these promotions & used it almost exclusively when I was on holiday in Bali. Because of that I have fond memories of this scent, and as I like the formulation of the Bath + Body Works Body lotions in general I can see myself repurchasing this in the future.

34: Dermalogica Precleanse – This is my holy grail cleansing oil so I’m not sure how well I’ll fare without it, but I have a few other precleanse products that I’m going to try to use up before purchasing another bottle of this (which I will definitely do in the future).

35: Bath + Body Works Caramel Apple Anti-Bac Foaming Hand Soap – I usually buy 2-3 Bath + Body Works Hand Soaps every season and this was one of my Autumn picks for this year. I was kind of disappointed with the smell, it’s more of a medicine scent than anything too caramel for me. Having said that, my sister & other people who used this soap really liked it so go figure. I don’t think I’d opt for this scent when buying hand soap in the future.

Note: I don’t normally write mini reviews of products when I finish them up, but I’ve noticed that a lot of people do and it’s actually the way I prefer empties posts to be so I think I’ll stick to this format from now on.

13 Thoughts on “Project 50 Pan (part 6)

  1. I enjoy these posts! What kind of light do you take your pics in? Always looks good.

    • Thanks love! I usually try and take them mid-day or afternoon if I have the time (on weekends) in my bathroom which has massive windows that let a lot of light in x

  2. I like the mini-review aspect of this, I would love for you to keep this format 🙂 I’ve heard so many great things about the Dermalogica pre cleanse, it seems like a staple product for a lot of people. I was just given my first bath and body works prod (hand sanitizer) and am so excited by it!

  3. Def love the mini reviews! 🙂 I love the satisfaction of finishing up prodz like anyone else, but I’m also fascinated by what people will actually go out and repurchase!

Meanwhile – you’ve definitely got me hooked on Lancome Hypnose – your constant raves about it forced me to invest and certainly rang true – it appears to be the only mascara ON THE PLANET that doesn’t smudge around my brow bone. Love.

    • Girl, start layering one coat of Lancome Hypnose under a layer of Benefit’s they’re real. AMAZING LASHES OMG.

Oh dear lord I can’t wait to do this! They’re Real has been on my wishlist since launch…but I’m on a no buy til I go to the US…which is fast approaching thank god!

  4. I too love the mini-reviews! I’m currently working through my Precleanse also, I wasn’t planning on repurchasing but the more I use it, the more I think I will have to keep it on as a staple – I also have a fair few precleanse products!

    • I’m now using up a bottle of Cetaphil as a pre-cleanser and god damn I am loving it. So many amazing products, so little face to use them on. (well not me, I have a huge head)

The more BBW stuff I see the more I want, urghhh can’t we just get one here already?!

  7. I think I am going to have to bite the bullet and splash out on more dermatologica products, they keep my skin clearer than anything else.
