June Lust Have It / May Lust Have It Review

My June Lust Have It Box only just made it to my door before the month ended, which is why this post is so late. Included in the June Box were: LonVitalie 24K Active Golden Yulan Oil Facial Mask $59 per 5 pack, LonVitalie 24k Active Gold Full Eye Mask $45 per 5 pack, Batiste Blush Dry Shampoo $9.95 for 150ml, b Collection by Bloom Shade & Line 3 in 1 $19.95 (this is a full size product, and mine is in the shade ‘St Mark’s Square’), Marc Jacobs Lola Fragrance $120 for 50ml, Chloe L’Eau de Chloe Fragrance $80 for 30ml. Overall I’m happy with this month’s box, I just wish it had come a little earlier in the month. And I’m a bit tired of fragrance samples to be honest. Especially when they’re repeats.

What did I think of the May box?

Evo The Therapist Calming Shampoo & Conditioner – I really liked this duo. The scent of both of the products was slightly overwhelming to begin with (they smell a heck of a lot like men’s aftershave) but after the first wash I didn’t mind it so much. My hair felt soft, moisturised and nicely zen after each wash.

LUSH Dirty Soap – Ugh, this soap. The spearmint smell was so overpowering that it was banished to the laundry room. I don’t think I would ever wash my body with this soap because frankly, it stinks.

Nicole OPI Nail Polish – I haven’t had a chance to try this out because I wear glitter nail polish once in a blue moon and mostly because it’s such a pain in the butt to remove. The colour of this looks really pretty though, so no doubt I will wear (and enjoy) it at some stage in the future.

ModelCo Lip Gloss in Striptease – I really like this lip gloss. The colour is sheer enough to be worn on it’s own or over a brighter lipstick just for a bit of glossy shine. It lasted quite well on the lips and I recall not having to reapply for at least 5 hours the last time I wore it. It also smells like yummy lollies, so that is an added bonus. I would definitely consider buying more shades from this range in the future.

Bioderma Crealine – This was probably the product that I was most excited to try out in May’s Lust Have It Box and I wasn’t disappointed. Having said that, I wasn’t really blown away by it either. I am sitting on the fence with this one (for now).

Calvin Klein Sheer Beauty Perfume – I was pleasantly surprised by this fragrance. It’s light and summery and reminds me a bit of Chanel Chance. It’s probably not something that I would purchase for myself, but I enjoyed having the opportunity to try it out.

2 Thoughts on “June Lust Have It / May Lust Have It Review

  1. I get the GlossyBox here in Germany… what’s with this month’s boxes being a little on the stingy side?

  2. Interesting about the Bioderma makeup remover. I’ve always thought it was all hype by people who haven’t tried really good drugstore makeup remover. I guess I just don’t think it’s worth the price tag.
