Project 100 Pan

I’ve been fluffing about with challenges lately but I’ve decided to go all in with the ultimate beauty challenge: Project 100 Pan. Joining me in attempting this almighty feat are my fellow Perth beauty bloggers Anissa and Kimberley, so be sure to head on over to their blogs and cheer them on! My rules for this challenge are pretty simple, with the bottom line being no buying of any new beauty products. The only exceptions to this rule are what I consider to be ‘holy grail’ items, meaning products that I only ever use one particular brand/type of (ie: foundation, cleanser, mascara). Everything else is out of bounds until I’ve finished up 100 products. Oh, except for MAC’s Supercontinental blush. If I can track down that elusive white whale I’m allowing myself to buy it.

Oh look, I’ve already managed to finish up 5 products. Nice.

01: NP Set Calming Pre-Foundation Primer – This is the only primer I’ve ever managed to use consecutively without my skin breaking out. I’m planning on repurchasing this next autumn (I don’t generally wear primer in the warmer months of the year because I hate the feeling of having too much product on my face) but I’m fairly confident that I will have finished this challenge by then.

02: Boscia Green Tea Blotting Linens – These are my favourite blotting papers at the moment, but I’ve got two spare packets in my cupboard waiting to be opened so I’m still going to include these ones in the tally.

03: Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Creme – Again a holy grail product, and again one that I have a backup for. I’ve switched to the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer SPF 15 for daytime use, but I’m still using the Ultra Facial Creme at night layered over the Weleda Soothing Almond Facial Lotion and oh lord is that a gentle juicy moisturizing treat for the skin.

04: AlchemicMuse Chiquita Soap – Scented soap bars seem like such a good idea at the time, but I just don’t love them. I never have and I doubt I ever will so I think it’s time I stop buying them. This was nice, it smelled like bananas which was something different for me.

05: Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Foaming Hand Soap – What can I say about hand soap? I tend to go through one of these a month, so I stock up during the sales throughout the year and usually have a few on hand (ha) at any given time. I currently have 4 spring/summer scented soaps sitting in my cupboard waiting to go so I’ll include this one in tally just because I can.

11 Thoughts on “Project 100 Pan

  1. Good luck! I have never done a blogging “challenge” but after four and a half years maybe its time! Is the NP primer oil free? I got a the new “BB”/Primer from Clarins this past week and I tried it out tonight it feels nice but I’m always so worried about my skin erupting!!!

  2. Supercontinental is still available at DJ’s, I’m not sure how close you are to one but you could always try calling the Melbourne Chapel St pro store, I’m sure they ship all over Aus for free… hope that helps πŸ˜› BTW, all of your photos are tiny on the blog now and I can’t get them to maximise…just thought I’d let you know. Emma x

  3. Oooh you sneakily finished products already! I’m still weirdly excited by the prospect of actually finishing a Project 100 Pan!

  4. Will be posting up my first 5 soon! Not sure I can post that regularly though.. or that may be ambitiously thinking! πŸ™‚
