Product Review: Burt’s Bees Honey & Shea Sugar Scrub

I’ve always been on the fence about whether I’m a fan of body scrubs, and for a while there I stuck to dry body brushing only. I had wanted to try the Burt’s Bees sugar scrub for ages and I am so glad that I picked it up because I am IN LOVE WITH IT. The first thing I noticed when I opened the tub was that this scrub looks absolutely delicious. Apparently I’m not the first person to think this, because the packaging contains the warning “not food: do not consume”. If you’re a fan of sweet scented body products you’ll love this. The scrub is chunky and abrasive due to the fact that it’s made up of grains of sugar, but I don’t find that it irritates my skin in any way. It does take a little longer to rinse off of the skin because of the honey content, but I don’t mind too much because afterwards my skin is left feeling soft and moisturised. It is 100% natural, not tested on animals and officially my favourite body scrub. The Burt’s Bees Honey & Shea Scrub retails for $29.95 AUD and is available for purchase from Burt’s Bees online.

  1. I’ve always wanted to try these. They just sound delicious. Might have to pick one up

  2. I’ve tried the cranberry one from this line and didn’t get on with the seeds inside, so this may be the winner for me… It sounds lovely.

  3. Product idea: a sugar body scrub you can also eat. Things that smell so delicious should be edible, or it’s just cruel!

  4. Oh this sounds so nice, I’ve added it to my ridiculous post project 100 pan wishlist!
