Red lipstick is a special occasion makeup item for me. The circumstances have to be right for me to wear any sort of ‘high-maintenance’ makeup product, because I’m a naturally clumsy person. I can only wear red lipstick if I know I’m not going to be eating anything or drinking too heavily. MAC’s Ruby Woo is something of a foolproof red. It has a drier formula than any other red lipstick I’ve worn in the past, which makes it a lot harder to smudge across your face after one too many glasses of wine.
