Thoughts of the week…

Summer is gradually drawing to a close, and to be honest with you I won’t miss it. There are elements of summer in Australia that I love, but as the season progresses these seem to be shadowed by the overwhelming number of things that I hate. If you’ve ever had to catch public transport on a day where the temperature hits 40-something degrees you will understand this. Also, spiders.

But then again, there are moments like this…

01) What would you do if money was no object?

02) Is anyone else watching The Following? I’m in two minds about it. One thing is for sure, Kevin Bacon is pretty rad.

03) I’m reading Lauren Conrad’s Beauty Book, and I’m really enjoying it. It probably helps that I’m single-white-femaling Lauren at the moment.

04) I finished reading Book 1 of 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami and I have no idea what is going on. I should probably have moved straight onto Book 2 but I’m going to give it a rest for a little while and try to read something else between each book in the trilogy.

05) Beyonce’s Superbowl Half Time Show was pretty amazing.

06) I’ve been wearing the Stila Convertible Colour in Gerbera all week and I remember now why it’s the perfect shade of blush for fair skinned girls.

07) This is probably the best website I’ve seen so far this year.

08) I think I need this blouse.

09) I’m nearly out of my LUSH Sympathy For The Skin body lotion and I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing another tub before the end of P100P because I can’t justify it. Hopefully I’ll love my Burt’s Bees Milk and Honey lotion just as much in the meantime.

10) Southland returns this week, YES! If you’re not already watching this show it’s time to start.

Totally loved the half time show, they don’t call her Queen B for nothing. If only women ruled the world…what a world it would be
