Product Review: Covergirl + Olay Pressed Powder in Light

Earlier in the year I made the change from using a loose powder to touch up my makeup throughout the day to using a this Covergirl + Olay Pressed Powder instead. Pressed powder is clearly the superior option when you take into consideration ease of use and portability and I’m really not sure why it took me so long to figure this out. This particular powder works well, it isn’t chalky and it blends nicely into my skin without leaving a dusty residue. I often have a hard time colour matching face powder, but this shade works and my fellow pale faced girls shouldn’t be afraid to try it out. The only down side to this product is the fact that the powder seems to have a very fine element of shimmer to it and I really wish cosmetic brands would stop trying to make glitterface happen. I know that this is in place to help give a luminous effect to the skin, but it never seems to work that way for me. The Covergirl + Olay Pressed Powder retails for $16.95 AUD and is available for purchase from Priceline, Big W, Target, and selected pharmacies throughout Australia.
