02) I’m still dying to see Pacific Rim but nobody will come and see it with me. I hate everyone.
03) The Killing finale was a stone cold disappointment, but the third-to-last episode was one of the best things I’ve seen on on television in a LONG time. Peter Sarsgaard absolutely blew me away.
04) BREAKING BAD IS BACK BITCHES.

06) The Man Booker longlist for 2013 was recently announced and I’ve since added the following to my wishlist: A Tale For The Time Being, Almost English, and Unexploded.
07) Mumford and Sons released the clip for their song Hopeless Wanderer and it’s amazing. My favourite thing about this is that Jason Sudeikis apparently sang at the top of his lungs all day on set while they were filming.
08) My girl Griff-yndor has started a new YouTube channel for all her bookish chat. Check it out.
09) I’ve switched back to strict budgeting and I’d like to try and include more budget related posts into the blog but I have no idea what to write about &/or how to make it interesting. Any and all suggestions are welcome.
10) Did you guys pick anything up from the Priceline sale? I replaced some holy grail items (taking advantage of the Maybelline 50% off sale) and bought myself some L’Oreal shampoo and conditioner that I’m excited to try out. Oh, and I also bought myself some gradual tanning lotion HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHhelpmewhathaveIbecome.
ohmyGOSH. You call K GRIFF-yndor?! I am SO JEALOUS.
Meanwhile. I haven’t seen Pacific Rim EITHER! My movie watching life has been fail whaling lately.
IT’S TOO BAD YOUR SURNAME DOESN’T SOUND LIKE A HOUSE AT HOGWARTS
BANE OF MY LIFE
I’m going to have to wait for DVD for Pacific Rim. ANNOYING.
I am crushing on the bookish chat. I am going to give one a go myself (video, that is). I want to go and see Pacific Rim (had same issue) but now it’s no longer in our cinemas here 🙁
Priceline sale, oh yes but only enough with my voucher. Sigh! I am keen on le budgeting tips too. However…. not able to help with where you should start, sorry lady.
I don’t think it’s showing in cinemas here anymore either 🙁
I would totally make an over the continent dvd date with ya.
IT’S A DATE. I’ll be the boy.
Thanks so much for the shout-out Jess! As always, I love your budgeting posts. The thing is, I find it really easy to set a budget, but actually following through is really tricky for me. I don’t know if you have any tips for that though!
Hmm, I often struggle with that too… I do have some tips though so I’ll see if I can work them into a post!
