Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream – When I’m sick, I like to up the ante when it comes to moisturisation. I’ve been using this cream on my face daily, and it feels so wonderful. It’s very thick, and my skin has been drinking it up. The lovely vanilla orange scent that it seems to leave on my skin also gives me a subtle little pick me up from time to time.
Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment – I don’t know where I would be without this lip conditioner. It’s thick, it’s hydrating, it leaves my dry and cracked lips feeling plump and soft and I love it. I’m going to need to buy back up soon…
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant – Exfoliation is key when it comes to avoiding dull skin, and this is my current (and all-time) favourite facial exfoliant. It’s gentle enough so that it doesn’t feel like it’s irritating the skin, and it does a bloody good job of making your face glow with good health and vitality… even if you’re faking it.
What are your must-have skin care products for when you feel a bit sick?
Oh, so sorry to hear you’ve been poorly! Summer colds are the worst, you can’t even get snuggled up and relaxed because you’re too hot. I’ve been meaning to try a powder exfoliant – they fascinate and also scare me slightly – but I love Dermalogica’s exfoliating mask already, so I think I need to give that one a try!
Get well soon xxx
Thanks Tess! I hate the fact that it’s so hot at the moment – we can’t even have the air conditioner or the fan on because it’s drying out my throat! Urgh!
When I’m sick I like a good face mask something like Origins Drink Up but to be honest when I’m really sick all I want is a cup of hot lemon tea and my bed.
I’ve been feeling like a good face mask lately, I just don’t have the energy to slap one on 🙁
But tea and lemon sounds pretty amazing right now…
