Perfume Collection 2015

Surprisingly enough, one of my most-requested posts has always been a perfume collection and overview. For most of my life I’ve been a one-perfume kinda gal, until about two years ago when I started to expand my collection a little bit. My skin is quite fussy when it comes to fragrance, and there are a lot that don’t work well on me (florals in particular). Which is a real shame because they always smell so beautiful in the bottle but then turn into something really awful on my skin. I’ve managed to find a few core fragrances that I’ve worn on and off for the last 10 years or so, and I still love them all. Here is a list of the fragrances I currently have in my collection, I’ll star the ones that are tried and true “holy grail” scents –

Demeter Lemon Meringue
Versace Bright Crystal
Byredo Gypsy Water
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle*
Chanel Chance*
Jeanne En Provence Amande & Fleur de Murier
Vera Wang Princess
Jessica Simpson Fancy
YSL Cinema
Burberry Brit*
Chanel Allure*
Fragonard Diamont
Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille*****
Flourish/Firebird Saltwater
Flourish/Firebird Brown Sugar
Flourish/Firebird Almond Milk
Chloe EDP
Taylor Swift Wonderstruck
Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess
Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black

At this stage I’m not looking to add anything new to my collection, I’m just focusing on making my way through what I already have (and will be replacing my favourites when I run out). Do you own any of these scents? I’d love to know what you think of them!

  1. I have Flourish Saltwater, Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess and Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black. The latter is my go-to evening out perfume at the moment, I’m a big fan. I’ve also had the Vera Wang and Chanel Chance though none of the Chanels ever seem to work for me. The Vera Wang is very sweet but a good cheapie and the bottle is so pretty.

I wish I’d gotten more wear out of Saltwater this year, I think it might be ready to be tossed. It smells ever so slightly like it’s turned, which is a big shame. Thankfully it’s not too pricy to replace!
