5 YA Books I Want To Read

I’m currently 4 books behind in my 50 Book Challenge, and it’s time to bring out the big guns. Young Adult books are great to kick-start reading momentum. They’re usually easy reads that I can progress through quickly, and always help me get back into a reading rhythm. I’ve picked out a selection of five books I’m currently dying to read, and hopefully I’ll get around to reading them soon. I tend to read YA books on my kindle, as they’re rarely books that I want to keep or re-read again in the future. Which makes it even easier for me to read them faster than usual because I can access my Kindle books wherever I happen to be, thanks to my iPhone. Ahh, technology. I’d love to know, what’s the best YA book you’ve ever read?

This year, I’m struggling a bit to stay on track with my 52 book challenge. More often than not, I’m lagging behind by one or two books. I just don’t have as much time as I would like to dedicate to my bookworming ways *sigh* but I shall prevail haha.

I’m adding “Seed” to my reading list. It sounds interesting, though I get the feeling it’s rather twisted (like “Room” – don’t know if you’ve read it but it also tells a disturbing story from an unconventional point of view).

The YA books that I’ve enjoyed over the last few years tend to be in more in the relationship/love genre. Just going from previous posts about your reading habits, I’m a bit hesitant to make recommendations because I get the sense that your interests aren’t really in that area?

I actually really enjoyed Room, so if Seed has a similar vibe I think I’ll like it.

And you’re right Pia, I’m not too interested in romance in literature, but I’m still happy to hear any suggestions you might have! 🙂
