CHANGES

Ugh, change! My most hated of things. I think it’s been quite a while coming though, and I’m ok with it for now. You may have noticed a bit of a change in layout here at The Belle Lumiere. It is still not 100% finished, and I’ll be chopping and changing things over the next week, so please bear with me. To be honest with you all, I’m still not sure which direction I want to take this blog in. I’ve hit a bit of a roadblock in that regard and have lost a lot of my motivation lately. Any and all feedback is more than welcome, so if you have an idea where you think I should take the blog please let me know. I need some INSPIRATION, people. Help a sister out and leave me a comment if you have any suggestions.

Oh, and P.S. I started a book blog.

My suggestion is please don’t quit! Your blog is one of my favourites to read. I love your home, planning and budgeting posts the most. Beauty reviews, empties and shopping posts are always a nice read as well.

Thank you Ally! Feedback like that is definitely inspiring and motivating for me to continue blogging, I really appreciate it. I’ll keep those things in mind too, thanks again 🙂

  2. I enjoy your blog because you cover a range of issues. I particularly like the empties, goals for the month and fitness posts. However, I am at least 20 years older than you so that may not be the demographic you are after!

Thank you Lisa! Honestly, I think my demographic ranges anywhere between late teens and late fifties, which is a wonderful thing! I appreciate the feedback, and I’ll definitely keep it in mind. Thanks again 🙂

  3. It’s looking really pretty and fresh, and very ‘you’ I think! I love the mix of posts you write on – beauty hauls and fotd’s mixed in with fitness bits and planner/budget stuff – it’s not a blog that is set in stone and that is what sets it apart for me, and why it’s always been one of my favourites.

  4. Hi mate, the new layout looks lovely. I know exactly what you mean about needing to be refreshed blog wise – over the past couple of months I just haven’t felt it either and I’ve struggled to post. I don’t want to give it up but I’m just stuck in a rut. I’m hoping that when I come back from holidays I’ll feel a little more inspired. Plus, like you, I started a second blog (it’s about AFL and I use all my actual details so I don’t link it to my other blog) and I’ve really enjoyed that, but it also eats away at my time and motivation.

I would be devastated if you stopped though, your blog has been one of my absolute favourites for years.

Thanks so much for your kind words Natalie, it really means a lot! I think I’ve found the “spark” again, which is a relief! Best of luck with your AFL blog, your Mustard Jumper one has always been one of my favourites!
