Spring/Summer To-Do List 2015/16

Last year I put together a wishlist of things I wanted to try and accomplish during the spring/summer months, and it was a really fun way of keeping track of all of the summery things I wanted to do. It was a bit of a mixed bunch of goals, but they were all things that made me feel like I’d be making the most of the warm weather. I decided to do the same again this year, and hopefully with me having a break from work I’ll be able to cross even more things off of my to-do list. Here’s hoping! I’ve carried across some of my goals from last year that I didn’t quite manage to cross off, here’s the full list for this year –

– Buy a BBQ and an outdoor setting for the back yard
– Set up the outdoor area in the back yard
– Catch up on my 50 Book Challenge
– Go for long drives on warm evenings
– Make iced tea to drink on the weekends
– Make musk (and possibly redskin or caramel) vodka
– Swim as much as possible
– Go for walks along the beach
– Have weekly lunch with my mother and grandmother
– Get a professional pedicure
– Re-Read ‘all in the blue unclouded weather’ by Robin Klein
– Go on a girls’ trip/weekend away
– Host a summer BBQ/dinner party
– Buy (and plant) some pretty pot plants for the back yard
– Buy fresh stone fruits from the local farmers’ market
– Have fresh cut flowers in the house every couple of weeks
– Buy a new maxi dress (and wear it to death with my favourite summer sandals)

  1. I love the weekly lunch plans with your family. I think I’d love to make some redskin vodka too! Sounds like a very enjoyable time off ahead for you x
