September Goals
* Enrol in my diploma of healthcare documentation course (I did it! I’m still waiting for everything to go through, and I have some paperwork to complete, but I should be well on my way to getting started next month)
* Maintain a strict budget, and track all spending (I have been keeping track of my finances on an almost daily basis, and it’s made a huge difference with how much control I feel I have over my money)
* Set my desk up for studying during my three month break
* Focus on skincare, and taking extra care of my skin (I’ve been making more of an effort to take care of my skin, and it’s showing. Which is a good thing, because my skin has been behaving pretty badly lately)
* Write a to-do list for my upcoming time off work (I decided to write daily to-do lists, but I do have a list of projects that I want to get done around the house, so I can turn to that when I’m looking for things to add into my daily routine)
* Make an appointment with the bank to talk about refinancing my mortgage
* Go shopping for “school supplies” for my course
October Goals
* Make an appointment with the bank to talk about refinancing my mortgage
* Go shopping for “school supplies” for my course
* Go on a girls trip down south
* Weed the entire garden (this has become a bit of a nightmare)
* Start painting the house
* Host an afternoon tea & utilise the new outdoor setting
You did so well! Although I would have been all over the school supplies shopping, sometimes I add things I really want to do to my to-do list just so I feel good about myself accomplishing them. 😛
Good luck for your October goals and enjoy your holidays!
I was really excited for school supply shopping too, but I figured I actually have everything I need. Best to save some money!
The afternoon tea sounds lovely!!
Yes! I can’t wait to have you all over again xx
Yay for tracking spending!! It definitely makes such a difference in our life. And as for skincare, I’ve busted out the Clarisonic I bought years ago and have been using it twice a week – I think it’s helping my skin look better!
Isn’t it amazing how much of a difference exfoliation makes? You’ve got me ready to bust out my own Clarisonic, which has been gathering dust in my cupboard 🙁
