Well well well, it’s certainly been a while since I’ve posted a “thoughts of the week” hasn’t it? I’m trying to get back into the swing of blogging, and I often come across things throughout the week that I want to share with you all, so I’m bringing TOTW back.
I was so happy to finally find the time to read the book AND watch the corresponding television episode (or episodes in this case) before the latest ‘Welcome To Deadcast‘ Goosebumps podcast. If you read the Goosebumps books as a kid and haven’t discovered this podcast yet, it’s time to get on board.
Speaking of podcasts, Sword and Scale is one of my favourites at the moment. My friend Sara recommended it to me (a fellow true crime buff), and I’ve been listening to an episode a day on my drive home from work. It’s one of the best true crime podcasts I’ve come across, so if you’re into that sort of thing I’d definitely suggest checking it out.
If you haven’t read this yet, please do.
I found out this week that you can commission the original artist of the Sweet Valley High books to paint your portrait in the book cover style, and MY GOD I am tempted to fork over $200 for a personal portrait.
Thanks to my friend Kimberley, I’m obsessed with the idea of bullet journalling. This is a great video to check out if you want to see one in action.
If, like me, you are a fan of Adam Driver – this is worth checking out.
I have a confession to make. I’m obsessed with Gordon Ramsay. We’ve been binge-watching Kitchen Nightmares and Hotel Hell like crazy people lately. I think Sebastian might be getting a bit sick of it. OH WELL. #iloveyougordon
I was really interested to see what the “new” Top Gear was like, and to be honest it was a bit disappointing. This article was certainly an interesting read… Bring on The Grand Tour!
If you’re a fan of my book related blog posts, don’t forget to head over to my book blog ‘Look At All These Books‘ for more bookish content.
