October Workout Plan

Honestly, I had every intention of posting this with at least some of these workouts crossed off. But here we are, and the list remains untouched. I find that the more accountable I make myself for working out, the easier it is for me to get it done. I’ve also found over the years that having a support system (even just a like-minded group of friends online), is a wonerful way to help keep things on track. I’m going to be posting monthly workout “plans”, which will essentially be a list of workouts I want to be able to tick off each month. I’m going to keep the list on a page on the site (you will be able to access it via the sidebar), and will maintain it weekly to show what I’ve been able to achieve so far. On top of this, I will be adding any improvements I’ve made throughout the month, as this is something my trainer has made clear to me is very important. You have to keep pushing yourself to improve, even in small ways, in order to make progress.

My current goal is to try and fit in at least 16 workouts a month. Anything on top of that at this point will be considered a bonus. Here’s what I’m hoping to achieve:

As the weather clears up I am hoping to include some more “outdoorsy” activities, and more sessions at the gym. I will check in monthly to let you know how I’m going, and to share any improvements I’ve made.
