Gluten Free Dessert Recipes (via Pinterest)

At this point in time I’ve managed to cut around 90% of wheat and gluten products out of my diet, which is a huge achievement for me. I’m feeling the benefits of it already, which is a great reward for something that has been a bit of a personal struggle. Thankfully, gluten free alternatives are everywhere these days, which means people who are avoiding gluten don’t have to go without. And that includes desserts. I already have two favourite gluten free “sweet treat” options available to me around where I work, but I wanted to look into recipes I could make at home when I felt like baking something special. Here are some delicious options I found on Pinterest recently –

Please let me know if you have any tried and true gluten free dessert recipes!

Pinterest Soup Recipes

One of the items on my Autumn/Winter to-do list for this year was to make big pots of soup every weekend. Soup is so easy to make, and is a really great cold-weather lunch option for me to take to work. At this stage I only have one soup recipe perfected (Jamie Oliver’s Pumpkin Soup, which is DIVINE), and I want to add a few more to my repertoire. Here are a few of the recipes I found on Pinterest that I’m planning to try this year –

Aaaaaaand cue craving for a big bowl of soup.

Pinterest Slow Cooker Recipes

One of the things I want to do this cold weather season is try to get as much use out of my slow-cooker as I possibly can. With this goal in mind, I’ve started trawling Pinterest for slow-cooker recipes that I want to try. I thought I’d share a couple with you all today.

Wow, that’s a lot of meat. Oh well, Sebastian will be happy. I’d love to hear from anyone who has a great slow-cooker recipe to recommend! I’ve only ever really made chili con carne and soup in mine, so anything different will be fun to try out.

10 Pinterest Recipes To Try

Things that are a bad idea: browsing Pinterest when you’re hungry. Pinterest is a goldmine for delicious looking recipes, and I decided to share 10 that I’ve pinned recently that I have every intention of cooking at some stage in the near future. Well, I’m sure I’ll get around to cooking them one day. For now I’ll just continue staring at the screen dreamily. Delicious.

I’d love to know if you’ve ever tried a recipe that you stumbled across on Pinterest? How did it turn out for you? Do any of the recipes I posted above tickle your fancy?

Recipe: Mega Pods

01) Ingredients: Butternut Snap Biscuits, 1 Tin Sweetened Condensed Milk, 2 Tablespoons Honey, 30gms Butter & Chocolate Milk Melts 02) Place biscuits on damp paper towel and cover with damp paper towel, place in microwave for 50 seconds until soft. Place biscuits in patty pan tin to shape.

03) Place in saucepan – condensed milk, honey and butter. Bring to the boil and reduce heat until thickens, stirring constantly. (I use a heat diffuser so mixture does not stick and burn) Once thickened, spoon into biscuit shapes. 04) Melt chocolate according to instructions and spoon onto caramel/biscuit.

05) Place in fridge until hardened. 06) Eat up!
