Product Review: Activance Hair Stimulant

When a product comes with the promise of “more hair” more often than not I am 100% skeptical about it. Having said that, the Activance Hair Stimulant came with a lot of positive reviews from fellow bloggers so I have to admit that I was more than a little curious about it. In particular, this review that I read over at Stuff That I Bought, which was so glowing it made me add the product to my “To-Buy ASAP” list as soon as I finished reading it. As luck would have it I was offered the chance to trial this product before I had the chance to purchase it for myself. It’s like big fluffy voluminous hair and I were fated to be together. I have been trialling this product for a few weeks now, and I have to admit – it works. It is designed for all hair types, and to use the product you simply spray it onto towel dry hair, massage it in, leave it for a few minutes and style as usual. The vital ingredient in Activance is Rhodanide. What is Rhodanide? I have no idea, but science types tell me that it’s a natural & essential molecule required in hair. Activance works to rebuild the Rhodanide levels in your hair to help stimulate hair growth and improve hair thickness, volume, shine, strength and quality. After trying this product out for a few weeks now I can say that it definitely makes my hair look fuller than usual, but I do admit that too much of the Activance tends to weigh down my super fine hair and when I use just the right amount (or at least what I deem to be the right amount) my hair ends up fluffier than usual. This doesn’t have to be a bad thing, it just takes a bit of extra styling for me because I wash and dry my hair nearly every day of the week. I think purely for the fact that it makes my hair look a lot thicker than usual, and it has definitely improved the strength and quality of my hair, the small amount of extra effort I have to put in to styling makes it worthwhile. The Activance Hair Stimulant retails for $55 AUD and is available for purchase online from the Activance website. (note: I was sent this product for consideration for review)
