In my feedback questionnaire I asked readers what kind of things they would like to see on The Belle Lumiere in the future. A couple of people suggested that I do some “outfit of the day” or wardrobe related posts. As I absolutely love fashion, and styling myself and my wardrobe I thought this was a great idea! Outfit of the day posts are quite far off though, as I recently gave the only full length mirror we have in the house back to my grandmother (it was a gorgeous antique piece and I had borrowed it for a while) but hopefully this is something I can figure out a way to do in the future. In the mean time we will have to make do with new additions and “wishlist” posts! This will be a new addition post, which I think is a good way to start Wardrobe Wednesday…
This pretty little number arrived on my doorstep today. It’s the Look About blouse from Anthropologie. This blouse was available on both the Australian Anthropologie site and the US based one, but including shipping (via Hop Shop Go) it ended up being cheaper from the US site, so I ordered it from there. If you do order this blouse be sure to go down a size, I ordered a Medium and it’s really closer to a size Large. I don’t mind so much though because I’m planning to either wear it tucked into a pencil skirt for work, or with skinny or straight leg jeans for a more casual look, so the volume in the blouse won’t detract from the overall look.
