The
Bloom Lip Duos are a handy tool for those like me who like to travel light. You have both your lipgloss and lipstick at the ready, and all compacted neatly into a convenient little (well, it’s quite big actually) tube. I
posted about these previously and was lucky enough to be sent 2 for review. I was sent Moon & Stars (pictured) and Rain & Puddles (not pictured, a medium plum colour). The formulation of the lipstick is just how I like it, sheer but pigmented, and one swipe leaves you with just enough colour on your lips. You can also layer the lipstick if you like a more bold/striking look. The gloss is slightly more pigmented than I normally go for, but definitely wearable even for those of you like me who prefer a subtle lip look. The lipgloss has a very subtle vanilla fragrance, which I wasn’t expecting and was a pleasant surprise. Both products (gloss and lipstick) have pretty decent longevity, but definitely did not last throughout the entire working day. I had to touch up at lunchtime, and then again before I left the office in the afternoon.

Okay, forget what I said about not buying Christmas limited edition products until November. I am officially going nuts over the new Christmas collections popping up everywhere. The
Bloom Cosmetics limited edition Christmas range looks amazing this year. All of the artwork is by illustrator Kat Macleod, and if you can’t be bothered facing the Christmas rush at the shopping centre you can order online and have the products wrapped for you! Easy as pie!

Bloom have released these gorgeous Colour Cards to help you out when you can’t quite decide which lip colour you want to be wearing each day.
The glossy formula delivers sheer to medium coverage while moisturising and conditioning your lips. “Each credit card-sized palette contains six universally wearable shades that are lightly flavoured with our signature blend of vanilla and mandarin essential oils,” says Natalie Bloom. There are three trays to choose from – Pretty in Pink, Natural Delight, and Colour Chameleon. (my favourite is definitely natural delight – the tray pictured) These would be great for those of you like me who prefer a more natural look during the daytime, but like to mix it up at night.
