FOTN: Date Night @ The Casino

Here’s a fun little fact about me – I am pretty much obsessed with pokie machines (in particular the keno ones). I can smell them a mile away. Sebastian and I went on a date night to Crown Casino on the weekend, and I discovered something even better than keno machines… Electronic roulette. We spent most of the night sitting and playing the electonic roulette, and I had a win of $60! Which was surprising as I very rarely/never win anything. Let’s not mention the fact that Sebastian came THIS CLOSE to winning $25,000. After a successful time at the Casino (for me at least), we headed out for a rather unsuccessful dinner at Mom’s Dumpling House. Definitely not my favourite dumpling house in Perth, but I’m always happy to try something new. Here’s what I wore on my face:

Givenchy Photo Perfextion Foundation in Perfect Ivory
NARS Creamy Concealer in Vanilla
Laura Mercier Loose Powder in Translucent
Josie Maran Cream Blush in Sunshine
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light
Inglot Eyeshadow in #390
Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Black
Maybelline Master Precise Liner in Black (yes, I use two kinds of liquid eyeliner)
Hourglass Arch Brow in Dark Brunette
Lancome Hypnose Mascara in Black
Hourglass Panoramic Lip Pencil in Icon
Chantecaille Lipstick in Cerise

FOTN – Pot Luck Dinner Club

One of my best friends decided to start up something called Pot Luck Dinner Club, where once every 6 months or so we all meet up at someone’s house for a themed dinner party (to which we all bring a dish). The ‘pilot’ dinner party was a Vegetarian Mexican Fiesta, and I decided to slap on my Autumn Capsule Makeup for the evening and share it with you all. Here’s what I wore: Givenchy Photo Perfexion Foundation in Perfect Ivory, YSL Touche Eclat in #1, Laura Mercier Loose Powder in Translucent, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Ethereal Glow, Urban Decay Primer Potion, NARS Kalahari Eye Duo, Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Hustle, Hourglass Brow Arch in Soft Brunette, Lancome Hypnose Mascara, Chanel Lipstick in ‘Rivoli’.

FOTN – Valentine’s Date Night

You may start to notice a recurring theme with a lot of my ‘face of the day’ posts, and that is because the majority of my base products stay the same. Why? Because I’ve discovered what works for me, what I love, and I intend to stick with it! At least until I grow deathly bored of them all or something. Anyhoo, here’s what I slapped on my face for a Valentine’s Dinner Date with Sebastian (we went out for Indonesian food, and it was divine). Givenchy Photo Perfexion Foundation in Perfect Ivory, Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Light, YSL Touche Eclat in #1, Benefit Erase Paste in Light, Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder, Hourglass Ambient Light Palette (again, I used all three shades combined over my face, and Incandescent Light as a cheekbone highlight), MAC Powder Blush in Instant Chic, The Balm Eyeshadow in Adagio, Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Hustle, Stila Kajal Eyeliner in Topaz (on bottom waterline), Hourglass Brow Arch in Soft Brunette, Lancome Hypnose Mascara, and a combination of Clarins Rouge Eclat in Sweet Rose and Estee Lauder Pure Colour Gloss in Nude Rose.

FOTN: Casual Dinner Date

I have a pretty standard day to day face, and I like to add on this for special occasions. A casual dinner date doesn’t require much in the way of fancy makeup (in my opinion, at least), so I added a couple of extra touches to my regular face for the occasion. Here’s what I’m wearing: Givenchy Photo Perfexion Foundation in Perfect Ivory, Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Light, YSL Touche Eclat in #1, Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder, Hourglass Ambient Light Palette (I used all three shades combined over my face, and Incandescent Light as a cheekbone highlight), Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Tipsy, NARS Eyeshadow Duo in Kalahari (the bronze shade), Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Hustle, Hourglass Brow Arch in Soft Brunette, Lancome Hypnose Mascara, and Hourglass Lipgloss in Nectar.

FOTN – Friend’s Birthday Drinks

I wore a bright lip makeup look over the weekend, and thought I would share it with you all. I tend to wear a pretty neutral makeup look most of the time, but for special occasions I like to mix things up a little bit. This was my makeup look for Saturday night. I knew that I would be wearing a dress with red and pink accents (and a wonderfully CLASHING pink necklace that Sebastian hated), so I decided a bright pink lip was the way to go. On my face: Givenchy Photo Perfexion Foundation in Perfect Ivory, Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Light, YSL Touche Eclat in #1, Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder, Hourglass Ambient Light Palette, Hourglass Ambient Light Blush in Ethereal Glow, MAC Eyeshadow in Blanc Type, Givenchy Magic Khol, Hourglass Brow Arch in Soft Brunette, Lancome Hypnose Mascara, and NARS Pure Matte Lipstick in Carthage.
