Liv Tyler for Pantene
If you’re anything like me you’re on the constant search for a product that will help you achieve ‘perfect hair’. Perfect hair for me looks healthy and glossy and is a rich shade of chocolate brown, pretty much exactly like Liv Tyler’s hair in the picture above.
Pantene have offered 3 prize packs to give away to help you achieve your own perfect hair, each containing Nature Fusion Intensive Penetrating Treatment, Nature Fusion Leave On Crème and Nature Fusion Root Lift Mist. To enter, simply leave a comment on this post telling me what your idea of perfect hair is (and be sure to include your email address so that I can contact you if you are one of the lucky winners).
Please note that this is open to Australian residents only and the giveaway closes April 28, 2012. Good luck!

Lust Have It took a sabbatical at the beginning of the year, so I was happy to return from my Bali trip to find the the Lust Have It February box delivered and ready to be opened. It was filled with annoying shredded paper (as always) and the following beauty goodies: Taut Collagen Infusion Mask $44.95 for 5 pack (I am wary to try this after receiving the Taut shark cartilage drink in an earlier box. Just… no.), Davroe Tame Lemongrass Detangler $21.50 for 315ml (probably the most interesting product for me in this month’s box), Sasy N Savy Rose Lavender Hand N Nail Repair Cream $25 for 100ml (worst brand name ever), LUSH Sugar Scrub $6.50 for 100ml (I am looking forward to trying this, despite the botanical scent) & Lancome Juicy Tube $46 for 14g (the only product I’ve tried previously, and look forward to using again). What are your thoughts on this month’s box?

11 - Original & Mineral Fine Intellect Shampoo
12 - The Body Shop Aloe Calming Toner
13 - Wella Enrich Moisturising Treatment
14 - Bloom Vanilla Bean Scented Soap
15 - Haus of Gloi Litchi Milk Tea Pumpkin Butter
I’m plodding along gradually with the products that I’m using up, and I slipped and ‘accidentally’ purchased a few things, so I’m not doing that well with sticking to the plan. Having said that, my spending has slowed down a LOT in regards to beauty products since starting this challenge. So far, so good!

I try to make a habit of deep conditioning my hair at least once a week (
“After all, your hair is your head suit” – Jack Donaghy), and I’ve been using this
Wella Professionals moisturizing treatment as part of my routine since receiving it for review a few months ago. My hair is naturally fine, but I have a lot of it and it is prone to frizziness so my deep conditioning treatments need to be able to tame the frizz without weighing down my hair too much. The Wella conditioner pays off in that respect and although it’s quite a thick and heavy conditioner out of the tub, it washes out easily and leaves my hair feeling light but well moisturised. The smell is fresh and fruity without being too overpowering but it doesn’t linger for too long after rinsing the hair. My only issue with this product is the packaging. I have never been a fan of products that are designed for in-shower use that come in tubs. It creates a lot of mess and when you’re as clumsy as I am slippery hands & twisting caps on and off of tubs does not end well. The Wella Professionals Enrich Moisturizing Treatment retails for $24 AUD and is available for purchase from Wella Professional salons. To find your nearest salon, please visit
Wella Professionals online. (note: I was sent this product for consideration for review)

I am quite amazed that I haven’t reviewed this product yet as it’s one of my most re-purchased products, well,
ever. I was originally introduced to this conditioner many moons ago, after reading that Liv Tyler was a huge fan of the product. As Liv Tyler has
perfect hair and is my residing hair idol, I rushed out immediately and bought myself a mammoth tub of the stuff. I originally started using Terax Crema back when it came packaged in a baby blue tube and smelt like a less than joyful mix of toxic chemicals. Since then, the packaging has changed, the smell has changed (it’s now a subtle caramel vanilla sort of scent though hard to describe exactly) but the product is still the same and it still works wonders on my hair. I have fine hair that I wash every day, and this conditioner doesn’t weight it down at all. It does however leave it soft, silky and shiny. Perfection. The Terax Crema Conditioner retails for $29.95 AUD and can be purchased from
Adore Beauty.
