Product Review: Josie Maran Watercolour Cheek Gelee in Pink Escape

As I’ve probably mentioned a million times already, I was VERY EXCITED when I heard that a Mecca Maxima store had opened at my local shopping centre. I decided to treat myself to a couple of things with the birthday money I had leftover from last month. Because beauty products purchased with birthday money definitely do not count as Project 50 Pan cheats. One of the items I bought was the Josie Maran Coconut Watercolour Cheek Gelee blush. What a mouthful. I’d never had a chance to look at the Josie Maran products in person, and the lovely Mecca staff member who was helping me browse was absolutely raving about the range, so I decided to check it out. This blush is really lovely. The texture is a bit strange, it really is like a gel but I quite like it and it applies evenly and shows up clearly on the skin. I tend to use this with my Real Techniques stippling brush, because it makes it a lot easier to blend the product out. A little goes a long way – this blush is BRIGHT. The Josie Maran Coconut Watercolour Cheek Gelee retails for $27 AUD and is available for purchase from Mecca Cosmetica.
