Makeup Inspiration – Kate Bosworth

I am looking past Kate’s atrocious Jil Sander ensemble and focusing on the amazing summer-perfect makeup she was sporting at the Style Awards last night. Fresh, dewy skin? Check. Subtle eye makeup? Check. Gorgeous gold eyeliner? Check? Full black lashes? Check. Glowy peach toned cheeks? Check. Hot as hell lip colour? Check. Perfection!

Get The Look: Kate Bosworth

Lets just make it Kate Bosworth appreciation week, shall we? Yet again, Kate managed to look perfect and was wearing the kind of makeup look that I always aspire to. (I guess it doesn’t matter what you put on a perfect complexion and a pretty face, it’s going to look good!) Her look at the recent Museum of Contemporary Art Gala was courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Amy Nadine. “Because Kate’s gown was so elegant, I wanted her make-up look to be fresh and radiant,” Nadine told Us Magazine. You can get the same look using the following products from Chanel…

Chanel Base Lumiere
Chanel Vitalumiere Foundation in Clare 2.0
Les Tissages de Chanel Blush Dou Tweed Effect in Tweed
Chanel Ombre Essentielle Soft Touch Eye Shadow in Safari
Le Sourcil de Chanel
Chanel Inimitable Multi-Dimensional Mascara in Extreme Black
Chanel Rouge Coco in Magnolia

I’ll have all of the above and the face to match. Thanks.

JewelMint

As most of you are probably aware, I absolutely adore Kate Bosworth. I think she is utterly gorgeous, smart, funny and she always seems to be super sweet and friendly. I’ve been a huge fan of her personal and red carpet style for years, so as you can imagine I was very excited to hear about her new collaboration with her stylist and friend Cher Coulter. JewelMint is a members only jewelry club that starts off by assessing your personal style through a quick quiz, and every month gives you the choice of selected items that suit your taste. You can either choose to buy a piece for $30 or pass for the month at no charge. There are new pieces every month for you to choose from, or you can opt to purchase any of the items from previous seasons. You can buy more than one piece a month, but from what I can understand you have to opt-out for the month if you’re not interested in purchasing something as to not be charged the $30 fee. The ladies have worked together to design the range with inspiration taken from pieces that they have found all over the world. It is easily accessible, and with a price range to suit anyone’s budget. The only problem is, because I am located in Australia and have no US issued credit cards, I can’t buy any of the pieces! Gutted. Hopefully they will open up to international customers soon. If you’re based in the US, head over to JewelMint now to sign up! (and if you want to share shipping with me, feel free to let me know!)
