A fitting end to Summer, with my February favourites all bright and shiny and fresh. I used these products consistently throughout the month of February, and now I’m ready for the cooler months to start settling in so I can dig out my favourite Autumn/Winter products. My favourites in February were: Bath + Body Works Aruba Coconut Body Lotion, MAC Face & Body Foundation in N1, MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study, Bloom Nail Polish in Flamingo Sands & CO Bigelow Blueberry Rose Salve.

I’m still not sure about lipstick. As a somewhat clumsy person, it can be a risky venture smearing any kind of bright colour onto my mouth as it often ends up everywhere but. Of course, I still happen to have an extensive collection of lipsticks for if and when the mood strikes me.
Inglot #230 (my favourite red), New CID Cosmetics i-pout in Scarlet, Christian Dior Rouge Dior in Stage Red, Revlon Super Lustrous Creme in Fire & Ice, Ciccone in Voluptas & Maybelline Colour Sensational in Cherry Candy.

MAC Amplified in Fusion Pink, Revlon Super Lustrous Creme in Cherries In The Snow, Napoleon Perdis DeVine Goddess in Artemis, NARS Pure Matte in Carthage (my favourite bright pink), MAC Lustre in Lustering & Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Adventure.

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Bonheur, Revlon Super Lustrous Creme in Temptress (my favourite neutral pink), Givenchy Rouge Interdit in Pretty Rose, Givenchy Rouge Interdit in Seductive Rose, Maybelline Colour Sensational in Juicy Bubblegum, Maybelline Colour Sensational in Juicy Pink & Maybelline Colour Sensational in Mauve Diamonds.

Maybelline Colour Sensational in Mango Diamonds, Revlon Super Lustrous Creme in Coral Berry, Ciccone in Oceanus, Inglot #105, Inglot #106, Revlon Super Lustrous Creme in Siren (my favourite coral/orange) & Chanel Rouge Coco in Teheran.

Maybelline in Rum Riche, Maybelline Colour Sensational in Beige Rose, Face Of Australia Lip Quench in Lychee Crush & Maybelline Colour Sensational in Ice Tea.

Accumulating too much mascara has never been a huge problem for me as I tend to stick to my ‘holy grail’ mascara (Lancome’s Hypnose) most of the time. Having said that, I do splash out and try a new product every now and then if it sounds interesting enough (I’m looking at you, Benefit They’re Real) and sometimes get samples sent to me for review. As it stands, my current mascara collection is probably the largest it’s ever been.
Mirenesse Sexy Secret Weapon Mascara, Revlon Custom Eyes Mascara, Lancome Hypnose, Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes & Benefit They’re Real.

Lancome Hypnose (replacement), NYX Doll Eye Mascara, Maybelline Volum’ Express One By One & Maybelline Great Lashes Lots Of Lashes.

Due to Project 50 Pan, this post should have been called ‘things I bought but probably shouldn’t have’ but oh well, we all slip sometimes. I purchased the Aquolina Pink Sugar fragrance on a whim after receiving a sample of it with a Sephora order, and I don’t really know what I was thinking. I also purchased Taylor Swift’s fragrance ‘Wonderstruck’ in rollerball form and although it’s incredibly sweet, I love it. I finally purchased MAC’s Trax eyeshadow, after wanting it for over a year now and last but not least I bought a replacement Lancome Hypnose Mascara for when the tube I’m currently using runs out. Not too bad as far as hauls go, but not great. There are three things here that I could have easily lived without, but three unnecessary things purchased in three months isn’t too bad.

Inspired by
Dee, I’ve decided to take stock of the products that I have squirreled away in my beauty cupboard. I feel that this will help me stay on track with Project 50 Pan, as it’s already been a huge “wtf why” experience just by looking through what I own to decide what to start taking stock with. Nevertheless the decision was made, and the decision was
BLUSHES. My weakness (alongside champagne coloured eyeshadows), I just can’t say no to a pretty pink blush.

NYX HD Grinding Blush in English Rose, MAC Beauty Powder in Alpha Girl, MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Porcelain Pink, NYX HD Grinding Blush in Georgia Peach, Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso, Face Of Australia Blusher in Outback Primrose, YSL Touche Blush in Rose, MAC Mineralize Blush in Two Virtues, MAC Mineralize Blush in Dainty & MAC Sheertone Blush in Springsheen.

SAX Complexion Blusher in Coy, Estee Lauder Blush in Rose Nuance, Chanel Irreelle Blush in Tea Rose, NYX Powder Blush in Peach, NYX Powder Blush in Angel, Estee Lauder Blush in Peach Nuance, Elf Blush in Glow & Elf Blush in Innocence.
Step 1: admitting you have a problem.

Lust Have It took a sabbatical at the beginning of the year, so I was happy to return from my Bali trip to find the the Lust Have It February box delivered and ready to be opened. It was filled with annoying shredded paper (as always) and the following beauty goodies: Taut Collagen Infusion Mask $44.95 for 5 pack (I am wary to try this after receiving the Taut shark cartilage drink in an earlier box. Just… no.), Davroe Tame Lemongrass Detangler $21.50 for 315ml (probably the most interesting product for me in this month’s box), Sasy N Savy Rose Lavender Hand N Nail Repair Cream $25 for 100ml (worst brand name ever), LUSH Sugar Scrub $6.50 for 100ml (I am looking forward to trying this, despite the botanical scent) & Lancome Juicy Tube $46 for 14g (the only product I’ve tried previously, and look forward to using again). What are your thoughts on this month’s box?
