Product Review: Red Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask

I still remember the first beauty product I ever used, and it was a Red Earth moisturiser. My great grandmother and I used to go on shopping trips to Aherns (who else remembers Aherns?), and on one particular trip she was telling me about the benefits of caring for your skin (I’m lucky enough to come from a line of youthful looking women, so and any skin care tips they offer up I listen to). My great grandmother purchased me a Red Earth face moisturiser and told me to use it every single day, so I did. Red Earth is making a comeback in Australia, and with this personal connection to the brand I jumped at the chance to try some of their new products. The first product I picked up to try was the Deep Pore Cleansing Mask with Green Clay and Kakadu Plum. I love a good mud mask. There is something so satisfying about getting a really deep clean from a face mask, and having your skin feel like it has a new lease on life. This mask did not disappoint. On application it gives a pleasant tingling sensation (in Sebastian’s words: “It burns!” – men), and dries to a comfortably tight mask. My skin can be quite sensitive, especially when it comes to products that contain a lot of natural ingredients, but I had no issues with this. No irritation, and no redness after I removed the mask. Just clean and soft feeling skin. This is a really lovely product, and I’m excited to try out a few more things from Red Earth’s skincare range. The Red Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask retails for $35 AUD and is available for purchase from Red Earth online (please note: this product was provided for consideration for review).
