01 Mood: Lethargic! We attended our first street party last night, and it was a total blast! I got into the festive spirit and consumed way too much red wine though, and am paying for it this morning.
02 Best thing about this weekend: The weather! Summer has officially kicked in, and it’s going to be 38 degrees celcius today, and 39 tomorrow. W-a-r-m!
03 Last movie I saw: Home Alone. The perfect Christmas movie. I try to watch it every year, as one of my annual Christmas traditions.
04 What I’m watching: At the moment Mad Men is in the DVD player. I received season one as a gift for my birthday and have been watching it on and off since then. It’s such an amazing show, and is definitely living up to the hype!
05 Makeup lust: Nars Sheer Matte Foundation in Mont Blanc. A lovely lady sent me a sample of this and lo and behold it was the perfect colour match for me! I am nearly about to run out of the sample, so I will be purchasing a full size bottle soon.
06 Listening to: Bobby Helms – Jingle Bell Rock.
07 Body Product Lust: Philosophy Cinnamon Buns. I received a gift pack of the shower/shampoo/bath lotion and the body moisturiser from my ‘secret santa’ and now I smell like a delicious cinnamon bun! I can’t stop smelling myself, which is hopefully a good thing…
08 Haircare Lust: Pantene 3 Minute Miracle. These are still amazing, and even handier now that they come in single packs as well as packs of three!
09 Current obsession: Fresh fruit. I have been consuming so much of it lately I’m surprised I haven’t turned into a cherry! I love summer fruits. Strawberries, green grapes, pineapple, cherries & peaches. So yum!
10 Aim for this week: Stop eating so much chocolate!

01 Mood: Peaceful. It’s been a good week (on average) and I’m looking forward to a fun weekend ahead!
02 Best thing about this weekend: My neice is celebrating her 6th birthday with a tea party this afternoon. There will be cupcakes, tea, and presents. What more could you ask for?
03 Last movie I saw: Transformers 2. Loved it. Optimus Prime was awesome as always, and although the fake bake orange tan was slightly distracting, I can’t deny that I have a little crush on Shia LeBouf. Men with the gift of the gab have always been a weakness of mine!
04 What I’m reading: One flew over the cuckoo’s nest, by Ken Kesey. Starting on one of the books from the top 100 of all time, as per my goal for 2010!
05 Makeup lust: I am curious to try the Estee Lauder Pure Colour Gloss in Blush after seeing it on the pout of Miranda Kerr on the cover of the latest Harper’s Bazaar Australia.
06 Listening to: Club Des Belugas – Hip Hip Chin Chin. Download this, listen and I dare you not to dance.
07 Skincare Lust: Keeping in line with the Miranda Kerr theme, I am curious to try out some of the products from her Kora Skincare line. I might pop in to David Jones tomorrow and have a look at what is available. So far I’ve not seen prices mentioned in any of the articles about the range, which is never a good sign…
08 Haircare Lust: A decent cut and colour. My hair is turning a delightful shade of light brown, but it’s not what I want. I need my chocolate locks back, stat!
09 Current obsession: Richard Hammond. Yeah… Back to the naughty corner.
10 Aim for this week: B-u-d-g-e-t!

01 Mood: Relaxed! It’s night time and I’ve just stepped out of a lovely warm shower.
02 Best thing about this weekend: It’s a 3 day weekend! Which as I’m sure you know, is far better than a 2 day weekend!
03 Last movie I saw: Defiance. It was a beautiful film, very touching. I cried a couple of times, but then I am a total soft touch. Daniel Craig’s accent threw me off a little though, he didn’t seem to settle on one particular accent.
04 What I’m watching: AFL. The Grand Final was today, so no more football for the rest of the year! Woe! But happy times because Geelong won! (My second favourite team in the competition)
05 Makeup lust: By Terry Light Expert Foundation in Rosy Light. I love you, you will be mine.
06 Listening to: Jessie Baylin – See how I run. I have this song on repeat.
07 Skincare Lust: Darphin Foaming Gel Cleanser with Water Lily. Come on, the name alone surely makes you want to buy it too?? Water lily!
08 Haircare Lust: I am really curious to try the Moroccan hair oil that Jessie Baylin swears by. She has practically perfect hair, so if it works for her, I’m hoping it might work for me too!
09 Current obsession: Sweet Valley High. I’m not gonna lie, I squealed out loud when I heard that they are making a SVH movie soon! I am way too excited for this. And why yes, I will be 25 years old in November.
10 Aim for this week: Get my dirty little paws on some By Terry foundation, stat.

01 Mood: Hungover. Self inflicted, so I’m not allowed to feel too sorry for myself…
02 Best thing about this weekend: Having nothing to do for the rest of it? Haha! I went out last night, and this morning and am looking forward to “getting things done” around the house. If only the weather would clear up so I could do some laundry…
03 Skincare Lust: I need to replace my Dermalogica Soothing Protection spray… Can’t believe it’s lasted me so long!
04 What I’m watching: Project Runway US. I am currently downloading the next episode & am excited to see if there is another surprise celebrity guest judge this week! (admittedly, their guest judges are superior to Australia’s, sorry! lol)
05 Haircare lust: Pantene 3 minute miracle. This product is now a must have in my beauty cupboard. It really works. After 3 minutes my hair felt like SILK. I will be blogging about this a little more during the week…
06 Listening to: Matthew Santos – Drop a Coin. It’s rare for me to find a musician who makes me stop and really listen, but Matthew Santos has done just that. His voice is incredibly inspiring <3
07 Wardrobe Lust: The Elizabeth & James Alexandra blouse that I recently blogged about… I love it so much! I want it!
08 Outfit: Dark denim jeans, black empire waist cotton top & black ballet flats. Nice & simple today!
09 I want: Chocolate. Lots of chocolate.
10 Aim for this week: Organise some sort of budget…

01 Mood: Rushed! I feel like I have at least 100 things to do today. Of course, I will get them all done with time to spare… Right??
02 Best thing about this weekend: It’s Father’s Day in Australia, so we’re spending tomorrow with the extended family. Hopefully the weather turns itself around so we can sit outside, have a lovely BBQ lunch and enjoy some time together!
03 Last movie I saw: The Young Victoria. I walked out of the cinema confused as to who I loved more – Emily Blunt, or Rupert Friend. The film itself was beautiful too… The costumes! So exquisite!
04 What I’m watching: Project Runway Australia. It’s the finale this week, and my money is on Lauren to win… (although I believe Anthony is the favourite)
05 Makeup lust: DuWop’s Private Red Lipstick… I cannot wait to try this. I know a lot of women spend too much time and money trying to find the “perfect” red lip… So the idea of a lipstick that changes to your personal chemistry to give you the ideal red lip is definitely intriguing!
06 Listening to: Say by John Mayer. I was never a huge fan of John Mayer, but I am developing a new respect for his sound. His lyrics are always beautiful.
07 Favourite recent purchase: Asos Pink Silk Blazer. I have ordered this and can’t wait to receive it! Keeping my fingers crossed that it fits properly…
08 What I’m reading: The Lost World, by Arthur Conan Doyle
09 I want: The house to miraculously clean itself.
10 Aim for this week: Attempt to cross everything off of my ‘to do list’….

01 Mood: Content. It’s been a perfect weekend so far!
02 Best thing about this weekend: Fresh strawberries! The seasons are definitely changing, and the strawberry farms near our house are back in business. They provide us with the most delicious big fat strawberries… I can’t wait to dig into the ones we bought today!
03 Last movie I saw: Public Enemies. Johnny Depp is really something special. I loved the movie (I went in with no expectations, but afterwards a lot of people told me that they had heard it wasn’t that great) – it was nice to get lost in the whole “cops and robbers” sort of style. Very entertaining!
04 What I’m watching: Generation Kill. Alexander Skarsgård as a marine… What more could a girl as for?
05 Skincare lust: Skinceuticals Phyto Corrective Gel. This is such a gentle product, and my skin is loving it. I have heard that it takes around a month or so to see the full results, but already my skin tone is a lot lighter… I can’t wait to see the continued results…
06 Listening to: Last Day on Earth by Kate Miller Heidke. So beautiful.
07 Favourite recent purchase: Our hotel booking for the girls weekend away in October. We got an amazing deal on a 5 star hotel… It’s going to be amazing.
08 What I’m reading: The Bride Stripped Bare, by Anonymous.
09 I want: My football team Carlton to make it into the finals!
10 Aim for this week: Stick to my healthy eating/workout plan. Survive the changes at work and do my best to keep a positive attitude! Also, if I could shake the last of this flu I would be thankful!
