As with most of my other “Project X Pan” endeavours, Project 10 Book was a big ol’ fail. I have continued to buy books throughout the challenge, and I don’t think I’ve even managed to read 10 books since embarking on the project. So today I wave the white flag and begin to post my book purchases on the blog again. My most recent book purchases are:

And as always, feel free to hit me with your book suggestions!

Little Women is my favourite book of all time, whenever i want something to read this is my go to book. I must have read it at least 60 times

  2. You’ve done Wuthering Heights, right? It’s the only “classic”I can bring myself to read. Oh, and Secret Garden.

But in terms of complete awesome quality, you can’t go past A Confederacy of Dunces and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. Not classics (hm, the first might be) but good god amazing.

Also you might not be a graphic novel person, but Watchmen by Alan Moore is a mindbending and awesome book.

    • Ugh, I hated Wuthering Heights :/ Though I know a lot of people who love it so perhaps I just wasn’t in the right frame of mind when I read it. I have The Secret Garden on my to-read shelf and have been waiting for a nice rainy weekend to pop up where I have the time to curl up and read it! Thanks for all the tips, the other three are on my list now!

  3. I’m currently enjoying Sleepy Hollow.

  4. Oh my – Little Women was and still is one of my favourite ever childhood books! One of those fabulous books that transcends age and time – it goes with you through all parts of your life. 🙂

  5. Love Dracula and Jane Eyre! Have you heard of ‘The Wide Sargasso Sea’? It’s a postcolonial reimagining of some of the events prior to those in Jane Eyre- like a prequel. So good.
