I first spotted this blush on a lunchtime jaunt to the MAC counter with a co-worker, and immediately fell in love with it’s bubblegum pink prettiness. I wasn’t completely sold right away though, and took a little bit of time before deciding to purchase the blush online. I am very happy now that I have it in my collection, and although I haven’t worn it as much as some of my other products I do really love the shade and the blush in general.
It is a very lightweight blush and it takes quite a bit of building up before any colour shows, so I don’t think this blush would be too well suited to those with skintones much darker than mine. The colour does look lovely on fair skin though, and shows as a very light, bubblegum pink. At first I found the blush hard to work with because the formulation is super lightweight, I had a hard time figuring out how to apply it (note: I usually either use my beauty blender or stippling blush when applying cream blush) but in the end I worked out that applying with fingertips is the most effective way. The MAC Cremeblend Blush in So Sweet, So Easy retails for $40 AUD (and is in fact out of stock on MAC Australia at the moment) but I purchased mine online from MAC USA for $19.50 (plus shipping) via a parcel forwarding service.
