Product Review: Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in RSVP

The Benefit Creasless Cream Shadow/Liner in the shade RSVP has been one of my most reached for products lately. I fell in love with the idea of a simple wash of champagne colour over the lid as part of a basic summer makeup look, and this does just the trick. The Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liners can be work as either an eyeshadow or a liner (as the name would suggest), but I tend to only wear them as all over lid colours. RSVP is a really gorgeous champagne gold shade, and exactly what I’ve been looking for in an eyeshadow.

The wear of these shadow/liners is pretty good considering I have oily eyelids, but of course it helps to wear them over a primer (I use Urban Decay Primer Potion). I apply it to my lids with my fingertips and then blend it out with an eyeshadow blending brush (Tip: If you are going to buy one of these babies, be sure to store them upside down to help retain their shelf life) The Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner retails for $34 AUD and is available for purchase online from Adore Beauty.

  1. Thank you so much for that storing them upside down tip! I have four of these (RSVP included!) and would hate them to dry out. Love them!

  2. I love these and great tip about storing upside down! Would never have thought of that! Doh!

  3. Totes weird – I have RSVP but it throws pink on me – it looks completely different to the colour you swatched. I’ve been wearing it a lot lately – it’s a really pretty Spring colour.

My Creaseless Creams have recently started to crease on me, regardless of whether or not I use a primer underneath. They never used to do that so I don’t know what’s going on. Yesterday I was wearing Strut and mid-afternoon I touched my eye and it smudged on my finger. That never happens! WHAT IS GOING ON HERE

  4. Cute. I think I have oily lids too! I am ABSOLUTELY hopeless at eyeshadow, do you think this one is easy to use?

    • If it’s easy enough for me to use I don’t think you’d have an issue! Your best bet is to get a really good e/shadow blending brush and then you can’t really go wrong. I use the Sigma E40 x

  5. Cute – I love the shimmery colour!

  6. I’ve bought these in Birthday Suit and Skinny Jeans, after reading a few reviews, I am hoping they suit me just as well.
