Product Review: Modiva Professional Curling Iron

Those of you who are regular readers of my blog will know that I am a long time sufferer of flat hair syndrome. Granted there have been some amazing products that I’ve stumbled across that have helped me combat this issue, but nothing that ever helped me to retain any sort of curl in my painfully stubborn hair. Until now. Enter the Modiva Professional Curling Iron, aka the Great And Powerful Oz Iron. I would never lead you guys astray, and I am honestly saying that this is a miracle product. It is easy to use, relatively inexpensive (more on that later) and gives amazing curl or wave in hair that lasts throughout the entire day. The Modiva Professional Curling Iron is clasp-free, which means that I can now curl my hair without ending up with a limp, kinked out mess. It heats up to 210 degrees celcius, which is bloody hot so be sure not to make the same mistake I did, and use the protective glove that is supplied with the wand. Here are a couple of awkward awesome shots of my hair from various days where I thought it would be a good idea to take some vanity shots.

And an easy to follow instructional video, supplied by Modiva…

The pictures I took don’t properly show how much of an amazing curl this iron can give you, if I manage to take some better shots in the future I’ll be sure to post them. It is really a simple tool to use, and if I can master it, anyone can. To make it easier for you to purchase the Modiva Professional Curling Iron, the company is offering 35% off of the original retail price of $89.95 AUD with the code curls (valid until 31/08/2011). You can purchase the Modiva Professional Curling Iron from their website, and I highly recommend that you do! (note: I was sent this product for consideration for review)
