I own an embarrassing amount of the Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks, and although it’s not the most exciting colour Temptress is probably my favourite shade. At the very least it’s my most-used shade because it’s so easy to wear and works well for day-to-day looks. My lips are naturally a dark pink shade so I can’t wear a lot of nude toned lipsticks without looking like the spectre of death, but this one works well for me. The only down side to this product is the lasting power, which doesn’t seem to be as long as the other shades I’ve tried in this range. Despite that, it’s still my go-to lip product at the moment. The Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Temptress retails for $21.95 AUD and can be purchased from Priceline.
I tripped and fell and accidentally bought a few things. Sorry Project 100 Pan! Maybelline Colour Senstationals Vivid Lipstick in Shocking Coral, Revlon Suede Lipstick in Trendsetter, Revlon Suede Lipstick in It Girl and Chanel Rouge Coco in Rivoli. And that is all for now…
Belated favourites, again! My most reached for products during the month of January were: Maybelline Instant Rewind Concealer in the shade Fair, Haus of Gloi Pumpkin Butter in Litchi Milk Tea (so much so that I used the whole jar up), Revlon Lustrous Lipstick in the shade Temptress, China Glaze nail polish in the shade Flip Flop Fantasy & MAC Blot Powder in Light.
I’m a little bit late with my favourites this month, but late is better than never right? (right.) My most reached for products in the month of October were: Bath + Body Works Exotic Coconut Body Splash, Face of Australia Pressed Powder in Bronze, Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Siren & Essie Nail Polish in Pink Parka.
The more I think about orange lipstick the more horrible of an idea it seems, but lets just imagine for a moment that wearing orange lipstick is totally rad and roll with it for the entirety of this post. I first saw the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Siren gracing the gorgeous face of Jen at My Funny Valentine and as I’d mentioned in a previous post, I decided that the colour might not be the best for me. It would appear that I’ve since changed my mind because I purchased this lipstick during a Target shopping spree during a recent lunch break. So apparently orange lips will now be a go-to-look for me this summer. Okay.
The colour is surprisingly wearable and makes for a fun alternative to a red lip for night time. I have already posted a review of the Super Lustrous Lipstick in the shade Coral Berry – and the formulation of this shade is the same, and just as good. The wear isn’t too bad, but it doesn’t last more than a few hours at a time so re-application will be required throughout the day or night depending on when you’re wearing it. The Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Siren retails for $21.95 AUD and can be purchased from pharmacies and department stores Australia wide.
